These past 2 weeks were busy with birthdays, Mother's day and visits with family (Nana Shirley snuck in another visit and Ambrose and I spent some time with my mom), friends and work colleagues (I dropped by the staff retreat). We attended our prenatal class reunion. Dave went back to work so Ambrose and I got a taste of what it's like to be without dad for an extended period of time.
Some observations about Ambrose:
Ambrose loves bath time.
David likes to entertain (or pacify) Ambrose by playing various musical instruments (e.g. violin, harmonica).
Ambrose calms down when Gymnopedie No.1 by Eric Satie is played.
Baby is "talking", cooing and smiling more and more each day.
Baby loves to disarm me at 5 in the morning with a sweet smile.
Like most babies, Ambie normally falls to sleep promptly whenever placed in a moving vehicle or stroller or worn within the baby bjorn.
Baby likes to hold me hostage for marathon feedings.
Ambrose is almost out of his 0-3 month outfits (we cannot get over how big he's getting, becoming longer and filling out).
Ambie likes to be held at all times (has yet to sleep for long on his own).
